CSDD Introduces a New Document Management System “Namejs”
The Road Traffic Safety Directorate (CSDD) has implemented the new document management system Namejs in its daily operations, aimed at improving internal administrative processes by optimizing document circulation, increasing productivity, and reducing administrative costs. The implementation of Namejs is a significant step in enhancing CSDD’s administrative processes and will assist CSDD employees in their daily work.
Namejs (www.namejs.lv) is a document and workflow management system designed for managing the organization’s documents, workflows, and meetings, ensuring effective teamwork and automation of the document dissemination process. CSDD board member, Dace Benhena, also positively assessed this document management system, emphasizing that Namejs has automated processes that were previously done manually, significantly reducing the time required for document processing, eliminating data duplication, and reducing the volume of manual labor for employees.
DMS Namejs ensures the following functions:
Reduces maintenance and IT human resource costs;
Allows employees to configure their workspace in the system according to their needs;
Optimizes work processes by offering a range of mechanisms that make document dissemination more efficient, reducing manual actions, and enabling management of documents both on computers and smart mobile devices;
Provides the ability to sign documents and verify e-identity with eID or eParaksts mobile electronic signature;
Other effective tools for improving work processes.
The implementation of DMS Namejs is supported by the European Union’s Recovery Fund, under the EU support program “Support for Process Digitalization in Business Operations” managed by the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia. The implementation process was carried out by specialists from RIX Technologies, who also provided training, and support for data migration.
